Welcome to b0o, the greatest forum in t'universe!

We don't have many rules, but the ones we do have are here for a purpose - it keeps our forum-meister Joey out of trouble, and keeps my blood pressure down...

1) Don't use text speak. It's offensive to the eyes, and makes people think you're illiterate. Or 12. Or my Aunty Lesley, she's invented a whole new language in text messaging... But I digress; we don't limit you to 160 characters, so you can use the full extent of the English language in all it's glory

2) Witty banter and reparte is one thing, blatantly slagging people off is something else though. Treat all other members with the respect you'd like to receive. Try not to get into flame wars , if someone's pissed you off, report it to a Mod or Admin.

3) Don't be discussing any of your illegal activities on here, you little scamps! In particular, please don't post links or advice on illegal downloads, be they music, films or games. They will be removed!

4) We all like porn (especially you girls, you're worse than us!). It's why the internet was invented, and it drives technological advances. HOWEVER, some of us are at work/college/uni during the day, and people can get in serious trouble for viewing unsuitable sites at work. So please DO NOT post any pornographic material.

5) Racism, homophobia, or other forms of intolerance won't be accepted. By that, we mean actual hatred aimed at other people - jokes etc are fine, but there is a line that mustn't be crossed.

6) Persistently swearing shows a distinct lack of vocabulary.

7) Paying it forward -- This is a brand new rule to increase reputation levels to people who give back to the community (normal posts with meaning and value), and to start elimination those who just sit around leeching and doing nothing productive. It's fine to join b0o and sit in the Pub area if that's all you want to do, but if you are negative with your posts and annoying, your ass is going to be banned until you learn how to give back to the community. Instead of just banning you for life, you'll be issued a sort of "community service" probation. Depending on the degree of the punishment or probation, you will be required to post a minimum amount of original posts/articles in the sections that have more value. If you still feel like being an asshole, we'll ban you and you can continue your crap on some other forum where you'll be appreciated as an idiot.
